(Oral) Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting anything as regards merits of the case, the same is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Superintendent of Police, Panipat, to examine the alleged threat perception of the petitioner as regards his life and liberty and also as regards life and liberty of other members of his family and to dispose of representation dated 7.12.2021 (Annexure P-1) as regards the aforesaid aspects, expeditiously and in accordance with law. In case, it is found that there is genuine threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner or to other members of his family, then necessary steps warranted under law be taken thereupon at the earliest so as to ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioner or to other members of his family.
