Present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for directing the respondents to grant benefit of Assured Career Progression (ACP) to petitioner admissible upon completion of 4 & 9 years of service in the Cadre as 'Veterinary Officer' from the due date of such entitlement.

It is averred that representation dated 19.07.2022 (P-18) made by petitioner is still pending before the quarter concerned. In view of the above, but without expressing any opinion on merits of the claim of petitioner, this writ petition is disposed off with direction to the competent authority to consider and decide the representation dated 19.07.2022 as per law, within four (04) weeks from receipt of certified copy of this order.

Needless to say that in case there is a failure on the part of competent authority, petitioner would be at liberty to move an appropriate application for revival of this writ petition. October 20, 2022 ( MAHABIR SINGH SINDHU ) 'dk kamra'
