The petitioners seek grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered against them vide FIR No.751, dated 14.9.2022 at Police Station Indri, Karnal, under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B of Indian Penal Code.

The allegations, in nutshell, are to the effect that the petitioners in connivance with revenue officials had got entries changed in the revenue record in their favour mainly pertaining to the Khasra Girdawri.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioners have falsely been implicated in the present case and that since all other coaccused including the revenue officials have been granted anticipatory MOHAN SINGH 2023.03.14 17:55 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

Opposing the petition, learned State counsel assisted by learned counsel for the complainant has submitted that in the present case apart from the changes in Khasra Girdawri, some mutations have also been entered incorrectly by the revenue officials so as to extend undue benefit to the petitioners and as such, they do not deserve any concession of anticipatory bail. Learned State counsel, upon instructions from SI Padam Singh has informed that pursuant to the interim directions, the petitioners have already joined investigation and the case is mainly based on documentary evidence. 5.

This Court has considered the rival submissions. 6.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case particularly the fact that the petitioner has joined investigation and also while bearing in mind that the co-accused have already been granted anticipatory bail, the petition is accepted and the interim directions issued by this Court vide order dated 18.10.2022 are hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioners shall join investigation as and when called upon to do so and cooperate with the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
