RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Petitioner has approached this Court praying for issuance of directions to respondents especially to respondent No.3 to finalize/conclude the partition proceedings titled as 'Jagwinder Singh Brar through Special Power of Attorney Sukhdev Singh versus Jujhar Singh and others', instituted by the petitioner on 06.01.2022, Annexure P-1, in a time bound manner. It has been contended by counsel for the petitioner that partition proceedings were initiated at the behest of the petitioner on 06.01.2022, however, there is no progress in the proceedings till date. He has submitted that in all there are 569 co-sharers and their service has been effected by the publication. It is submitted that almost 35 times the case was taken up but there is no progress in the partition proceedings. He also submits that even Zimni orders are not being provided to the petitioner. Notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Ms.Akshita Chauhan, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the MEENU 2023.09.15 15:11 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

After hearing counsel for the parties and going through the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3, i.e. District Revenue Officer, Bathinda, to expedite the partition proceedings pending before him and conclude the same expeditiously.
