(ORAL) After arguing for a while, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the instant petition while submitting that the petitioners would be availing the alternative, appropriate and efficacious remedy, as may be permissible to them under law, for seeking the redressal of their grievance, as canvassed in this petition. Mr. Sumit Jain, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, UT, Chandigarh, who has joined the proceedings on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3 in this case in pursuance of the copies of the instant petition having been sent to the respondent-UT in advance, has no objection for the same. Resultantly, the petition in hand stands dismissed for having been withdrawn accordingly.
