(ORAL) [1] Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that at this stage he would be satisfied if the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Deputy Commissioner, Kapurthala, District Kapurthala, to take a decision on the legal notice dated 07.01.2025 (Annexure P-9) filed on behalf of the petitioners.

[2] Learned State counsel, who appears on advance notice, has no objection if the above prayer is accepted.

[3] Accordingly, at this stage, without commenting on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2Deputy Commissioner, Ambala, to take a decision on the aforesaid legal notice submitted on behalf of the petitioners, by passing a speaking order and after affording opportunity of hearing to all concerned, preferably within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
