(Oral) The appellant has filed CM No.662-C of 2017 for disposal of main appeal in view of order passed by the National Lok Adalat in appeal against order dated 12.09.2008 passed by the Collector-cum-District Development and Panchayat Officer, Fatehgarh Sahib and the compromise arrived at between the parties.

Learned counsel for the appellant submits that not only on the basis of compromise but on merits as well and in view of decision passed by the Division Bench of this Court in CWP No.209 of 2016 titled as 'Manjit Kaur vs. Director, Rural Development and Panchayat, Punjab and others', decided on 21.04.2016, the suit has become infructuous and the appellant has been declared owner vide judgment passed by the National Lok Adalat in appeal No.175 of 2014 decided on 12.11.2016.
