(Oral) The present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been preferred by the petitioners seeking directions to respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 30.08.2023 (Annexure P-1) moved by the petitioners to protect their life and liberty. 2.

It is, inter alia, contended by learned counsel for the petitioners that feeling aggrieved by the acts and conducts of respondent Nos.4 to 7 and apprehending threat to their life and liberty, the petitioners had moved the representation dated 30.08.2023 (Annexure P-1) to respondent No.2Superintendent of Police, District Nuh, Mewat Haryana, but till date no action thereon has been taken. Learned counsel submits that for the purpose of present petition, the petitioners would be satisfied in case directions are issued to respondent No.2 to consider and dispose of the representation (Annexure P-1) in accordance with law in an expeditious manner. 3.

After considering the respective submissions and also the averments made in the petition and without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and dispose of the representation (Annexure P-1) in accordance with law in an expeditious manner and to take all the appropriate steps required to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners as envisaged in law. The decision so taken be also intimated to the petitioners.
