(Oral) The present petition has been filed for seeking protection of life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of respondent No.5 who is unnecessarily harassing the petitioner at the instance of respondents No.10 & 11 by calling him to associate in multiple inquiries. 2.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner contends that private respondent No.11 has already given a statement that he does not wish to pursue the complaint under challenge subject to the final outcome of the present petition.

Learned State Counsel, on the other hand, contends that multiple inquiries shall not be undertaken and that as per the established procedure, only the Bureau of Investigation can undertake subsequent inquiries. He however does not dispute that private respondent No.11 has already given a statement not to pursue the complaint under challenge. 4.
