On 03.02.2026, the following order was passed:- "Office report indicates that the service upon respondent is still pending for want of process fee and this fact has also been communicated to the learned counsel for the petitioner through emails on 23.04.2025 and 12.06.2025 respectively. Let fresh notice be issued to the respondents on filing process fee by the learned counsel for the petitioner for 22.05.2026.

Registry of this Court is directed to inform the learned counsel for the petitioner about the date fixed by way of written communication."

As per office report, notice issued to the respondents has been received back served.

Ms. Geeta Sharma, Advocate puts in appearance and accepts

-2notice on behalf of the respondents and files her vakalatnama in the Court today which is taken on record. However, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

In view of the above, it appears that neither the petitioner(s) nor its counsel is interested in pursuing the present petition. IOIN stands disposed of accordingly.

Since the main case is on regular board of this Court being admitted on 10.09.2024, the main case is ordered to be taken up on board for today itself.

The present civil writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant 4% House Rent Allowance to all the employees posted at Sub Station Ablowal, equivalent to the allowance being given to the employees of SLDC posted at Ablowal and employees posted at Patiala as granted by order dated 10.04.2008 (Annexure P-1). Further, for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for setting aside the order dated 04.07.2011 (Annexure P-2) and order dated 26.11.2014 (Annexure P-5) passed by the respondents.

Today, the case has been called twice but none has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner(s). It appears that neither the petitioner(s) nor its counsel is interested in pursuing the present petition.
