(Oral) This petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents for fixing the pay of the petitioners at par with their juniors, in view of directions issued vide memo no.22/132-2008-3GS-III dated 18.12.2013, Annexure P-8, by the Chief Secretary to Government of Haryana.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that grievance raised herein is pending for appropriate decision before the respondents. At this stage, the petitioners will be satisfied in case respondent No.2 is directed to decide their pending legal notice, dated 16.06.2023 (Annexure P-11), in a specified period.

In view thereof, without going into merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2/Director, Secondary Education, Haryana, to consider and decide the pending legal notice dated 16.06.2023, by passing a speaking order in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order.
