Learned counsel for the State has pointed out that only two witnesses remain to be examined and the matter is now fixed before the Trial Court on 31.08.2022.

In view of above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition. He, however, states that the Trial Court may be directed to expedite the hearing since the petitioner has been in custody for a considerable period of time.
