IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH CWP No. 24176 of 2022 Date of decision : March 13, 2023 Paramjit Singh ...... Petitioner
Versus
State of Punjab and others ...... Respondents CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE PANKAJ JAIN *** Present :-Mr. Deepak Arora , Advocate for the petitioner.
*** PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) Present petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari to quash the impugned order dated 22.08.2022 (Annexure P-1). Learned counsel for the petitioner admits that so far as the transfer of the petitioner is concerned, he probably cannot raise grievance. However, he limits his prayer to the seniority issue claiming that the same has to be protected. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and have gone through the record of the case.
Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioner in the present petition, the petitioner is granted liberty to represent to the respondents with respect to protection of seniority. On ARCHANA ARORA 2023.03.13 17:34 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment
CWP No. 24176 of 2022 -2a representation, being submitted by the petitioner, this Court is sanguine of the fact that the authority will take appropriate decision in accordance with law by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
The petitions stands disposed off accordingly. ( PANKAJ JAIN ) JUDGE March 13, 2023 archana Whether speaking/reasoned Yes Whether Reportable :
