Tribhuvan Dahiya, J (Oral) The petition has been filed seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the letter, dated 12.08.2024, Annexure P-7, whereby the Disciplinary Committee has been constituted by the third respondent in violation of the Principles of Natural Justice, and has been allowed to inquire into the complaint against the petitioner.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied in case he is permitted to make a fresh representation before the respondents raising the grievance as has been raised in this petition, and the same may be ordered to be decided within a specified period.

Learned State counsel, appearing on advance notice, contends that in case any such representation is filed by the petitioner within one week from today, the same will be decided by the second respondent-Director General, Higher Education, within eight weeks from receiving the same.
