(ORAL) Reply by way of affidavit of Lakhwinder Singh, PPS, DSP (City), District Pathankot has been filed on behalf of respondents No.1 to 4, today in Court. The same is taken on record. As per the contents of the affidavit, petitioner herein appeared before the authorities and suffered statement to the following effect :- "Stated that I am resident of abovementioned address and is employed in a private company. I had given one complaint bearing no. 1404-MISC to SSP in which we have entered into compromise. Now, I do not want to take any action in the complaint."

In view of the aforesaid statement made by the petitioner, counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not wish to press the present petition.
