RAJESH BINDAL, J Challenge in the present appeal is to the order dated 23.5.2014 passed by the learned court below, whereby the reference filed by the appellant was dismissed.
Brief facts of the case are that the appellant filed reference under Section 3-H(4) of the National Highway Act, 1956 (for short, 'the Act') for apportionment of compensation for the acquired land situated in the revenue estate of Village Talwandi Khuman, Tehsil and District Amritsar by the Central Government under the Act. Compensation for the same was assessed. The learned court below keeping in view the material placed on record by the parties, dismissed the claim of the appellant. The same has been impugned by the appellant before this Court. Learned counsel for the appellant submitted that she may be permitted to withdraw the present appeal with liberty to avail of any other appropriate remedy in accordance with law.
