VIKAS BAHL, J. (ORAL) This is a petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., praying for issuance of direction to the official respondents for conducting fair and impartial enquiry in case FIR No.0016 dated 3.3.2019, under Sections 304A, 279 and 427 of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Fattu Dhinga, District Kapurthala.

In the present case, notice of motion was issued and the State was directed to file the status report. A perusal of the status report filed by the State would show that the cancellation report was prepared in RAJ KUMAR ARORA 2022.07.08 17:27 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-42045-2019 (O&M) the present case by the Investigating Officer and the same had been approved by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division, Sultanpur Lodhi on 20.10.2020 and as per the reply of the State said cancellation report was pending approval before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala.

Learned counsel for the State has submitted that cancellation report has not been approved by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala and the investigation is underway and the same would be completed within a period of six weeks and the final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. would be submitted.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he would be satisfied in case the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the official respondents to conclude the investigation and to submit the final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. in a time bound manner. Keeping in view the above said facts, the present petition is disposed of with the direction to the official respondents to finalise the matter and to submit the report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. within a period of two months from today.
