By way of filing the instant petition, violation of the order dated 16.05.2024, passed by this Court in CWP-11455-2024 (Annexure P-1), has been alleged, whereby, direction was issued to the respondents to consider and decide the representation of the petitioners dated 30.04.2024 in terms of the judgment of this Court in "Amrish Sharma and others vs. State of Punjab and others", passed in CWP-19238-2013, decided on 26.02.2024. 2.

Short reply dated 27.10.2025 has been filed by way of an affidavit of Sh. Priyank Bharti, I.A.S., Administrative Secretary of Forest and Wildlife Preservation, Punjab, Chandigarh (respondent No.1), which is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the aforesaid order dated 16.05.2024 stands complied with and a Speaking Order dated

COCP-3766-2025 (O&M)  25.08.2025 (Annexure R-1) has been passed by the Divisional Forest Officer, Gurdaspur.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the services of only petitioner No.10-Bhupinder Singh s/o Sh. Hazara Singh, petitioner No.18-Ranjit Singh s/o Surjit Singh and petitioner No.19-Kulwant Singh s/o Sh. Kashmir Singh have been regularized. However, they have not been granted any financial benefit. It is further contended that the remaining petitioners have not been regularized on the ground of not fulfilling the educational criteria.

In view of the above facts and circumstances, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to release the requisite financial benefits to petitioners No.10, 18 and 19. 6.

However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to assail the correctness of the order dated 25.08.2025 (Annexure R-1) by availing appropriate remedy, as per law.

In case the financial benefits are not released to petitioners No.10, 18 and 19 within a period of 03 months, the petitioners may file an application for revival of the present petition. 8.
