% ******* KARAMJIT SINGH, J.(Oral) Counsel for the petitioners submits that the present petition has been filed by run-away couple who performed marriage against the wishes of respondents No.4 to 6, who are extending threats to cause harm to the petitioners and in this regard, representation dated 03.09.2024 (Annexure P-5) is already submitted by the petitioners to respondent No.2 i.e. Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar. 2.

Notice of motion.

Mr. Jasjeet Singh Dhaliwal, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3 and on instructions from ASI Narinder Pal submits that now the matter has been compromised between the parties and to this effect statements of petitioners were recorded and copies of the same are taken on record.

Faced with this situation, counsel for the petitioners made statement that the present petition be disposed of, in view of the aforesaid statement made by the State counsel.
