ALKA SARIN, J. (Oral) The present revision petition pertains to the year 2019. On 30.10.2019 the case was adjourned on the request of counsel for the petitioner. Thereafter, on 08.11.2019, the case was yet again adjourned on the request of counsel for the petitioner on the ground that he was in some personal difficulty. Vide order dated 05.12.2019 the lower Court record was called for. On 30.01.2020 none put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner despite the matter being called twice. Vide order dated 24.02.2020, since another request for an adjournment was made, in the interest of justice, the case was adjourned subject to deposit of Rs.5000/- as costs, to be deposited in the Poor Patients Welfare Fund of the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh.

The matter thereafter could not be taken up in view of the situation created due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. The case was taken up on 11.10.2022 when none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. On 19.10.2022 the lawyers were abstaining from work in view of the resolution passed by the Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association and the case was adjourned to 01.11.2022. Yet again on 01.11.2022 the lawyers were abstaining from work and the case was JITENDER KUMAR 2022.12.02 10:25 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment.

CR No.6832 of 2019 -2adjourned to today. Today, the case has been called twice. However, none has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner. No receipt has been filed in the Registry till date qua the costs imposed vide order dated 24.02.2020. In view of the above, this Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the present revision petition for non-prosecution. Dismissed for non-prosecution. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
