The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of advertisement Nos.12/2025 and 13/2025 to the extent respondent has reserved post for Other Scheduled Castes instead of Deprived Scheduled Castes.

The petitioner belongs to Balmiki Community which is a Deprived Scheduled Caste. The respondent by advertisement Nos.12/2025 and 13/2025 has advertised posts of Senior Scientific Officer (scene of crime) and Senior Scientific Officer (documents). The respondent has allocated PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2025.08.27 02:02 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP No.21805-2025 -2reserved posts to OSC. As per Government instructions dated 13.11.2024 (Annexure P-4), the respondent had to reserve seats for Deprived Scheduled Castes instead of Other Scheduled Castes.
