**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for issuance of directions to the official respondents to conduct fair and proper investigation in FIR No.364 dated 13.08.2022, registered at Police Station Zirakpur, under Sections 279, 337, 427 and 304-A IPC.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the FIR was registered way back on 13.08.2022, yet the fact remains that till date the challan has not been presented by the Police. He further submits that for redressal of his grievances, the petitioner has moved a representation dated 08.09.2023 (Annexure P-2), which has not been taken into consideration by respondents No.3 and 4 i.e. Station House Officer and Head Constable (Investigating Officer), Police Station Zirakpur, SAS Nagar (Mohali).

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner confines his argument to the extent that the petitioner would be satisfied if the said MANGAL SINGH 2023.09.26 11:06 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

On the asking of this Court, Mr. CL Pawar, Additional AG Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents-State and submits that he has no objection if the aforesaid limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner is allowed. In view of the above and without commenting anything on the merits of the case, respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Police Station Zirakpur, SAS Nagar (Mohali), is directed to decide the representation dated 08.09.2023 (Annexure P-2), within two months from the receipt of the certified copy of this order, as per law. Disposed of in the above terms.
