The petitioner has filed the present writ petition whereby it seeks quashing of the order dated 27.03.2019 (Annexure P-2) passed by the Commissioner, Division Faridkot, Punjab vide which the case was remanded to the Collector (DDPO, Mansa).

During the pendency of the present petition, the petitionerGram Panchayat in an illegal and arbitrary manner took possession of some part of the land in question which belongs to the applicants/respondents No. 3 to 9.

In the connected matter i.e. CWP No. 27812 of 2019, titled Gram Panchayat Village Mansa Khurd vs. State of Punjab and others, also the petitioner Gram Panchayat had taken the possession of the subject land and the respondents therein have filed application i.e. CM-730-CWP-2024 under Section 144 CPC for restoration of the land, which became disposed of along with the main appeal on 12.03.2024. The said writ petition as well as the instant writ petition are connected, as both, have been filed by the Gram Panchayat Mansa Khurd against the similarly situated persons. All the facts and applicable laws are similar inter se the petition(supra) and the present writ petition, except the numbers of subject lands etc. 5.

The applicants-respondents No. 3 to 9 who are similarly situated to supra persons, thus seek the indulgence of this Court to pass orders similar to the one, as became passed in petition (supra), so that they can also avail appropriate remedy in accordance with law, especially in view of the observations made by this Court in order dated 12.03.2024 passed in CWP No. 27812 of 2019, titled Gram Panchayat Village Mansa Khurd vs. State of Punjab and others.

The instant writ petition is disposed of in the same terms as CWP No. 27812 of 2019, titled 'Gram Panchayat Village Mansa Khurd vs.

State of Punjab and others', thus became disposed of. 7.
