The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India inter alia praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No. 1 to 4 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner as well as her family members at the hands of private respondents No. 7 to 11.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the present petition, the parties have again compromised the matter which has been partly acted upon also and hence, the petitioner does not wishes to press the present petition and accordingly, prays for withdrawal of the same at this stage.

In light of the above, the present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn at this stage, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case.
