#!#: for grant of regular bail in FIR No.256 dated 24.10.2024 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 384, 354-C of IPC and Section 66-E of Information Technology Act, 2000 registered at Police Station Thanesar, District Kurukshetra.

As per facts of the case, prosecutrix 'PR' gave her statement that she had booked a room in MG Grand Hotel on 27.04.2024 where she had gone along with Sandeep Gill. There somebody prepared her obscene video. She started receiving calls from mobile phone No.70154-80985 blackmailing her on account of said obscene photographs and videos. Matter

was reported to the police on the basis of which present FIR has been registered.

As per status report, during investigation record of MG Grand Hotel was collected. Present petitioner was arrested in this case. He was joined in investigation. Mobile phone along with SIM card was taken into police possession. Call detail record, CAF and location chart was procured. Disclosure statement of the accused was also recorded as Annexure R-2. On completion of investigation, challan was presented in the Court. 4.

Learned counsel for petitioner argued that he was arrested in this case on 27.10.2024 and till date he is behind the bars. Earlier he had filed regular bail petition bearing CRM-M-4490-2025 which was dismissed as withdrawn as per order dated 19.05.2025 (Annexure P-4). Now statements of material witnesses have been recorded and thereafter second regular bail petition has been filed. Petitioner is ready to abide by the terms of bail order. Therefore, it is submitted that his regular bail petition may be allowed.

Detailed status report has been filed confirming the facts stated in the FIR. On the completion of investigation, challan was presented on 24.12.2024. Chargesheet was framed. At the time of filing of status report, out of 10 prosecution witnesses, two were already examined. Considering the gravity of offence, petitioner is not entitled to be released on regular bail. 6.

I have considered the arguments and have gone through the record carefully. Petitioner is behind the bars from 27.10.2024. Statements

of prosecution witnesses placed on record i.e. statement of Manager of Hotel as PW1 (Annexure P-5) and statement of victim as PW2 (Annexure P-6). Remaining prosecution witnesses are yet to be examined. Trial in this case may take some time. Petitioner cannot be kept behind the bars for indefinite time period. Therefore, without expressing my mind on the merits of the case, %/91%
