(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No. 0108 dated 01.03.2018 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 323 and 452 IPC at Police Station City Jind, District Jind and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 20.09.2019 (Annexure P-2) effected in between the parties.

Pursuant to order dated 01.10.2019 of this Court, the parties appeared before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jind, on 27.11.2019 to get their statements recorded. Learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jind submitted his report vide letter No. 1406 dated 28.11.2019, duly forwarded by the learned District and Sessions Judge, Jind, vide letter No. 22856 dated 29.11.2019.

CRM-M-42280-2019 -2According to the report, learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jind, is satisfied that compromise effected between the parties is voluntarily and without any pressure, coercion or undue influence. In compliance of order dated 27.01.2020, original receipts duly attested by learned counsel for the petitioners regarding deposit of costs of `20,000/- have also been produced in Court today. The same are taken on record. Be tagged at appropriate place. Considering the report of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jind, dated 28.11.2019 and deposit of costs as well as the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony between the parties, aforesaid FIR No. 0108 dated 01.03.2018 (Annexure P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed, qua the petitioner only.

Registry is directed to verify deposit of aforesaid costs, with the concerned quarter.
