This is third petition under Section 483 BNSS, for the grant of regular bail in case FIR No. 180 dated 24.12.,2022, u/s 22 of the NDPS Act, registered at Police Station West Sector-11, Chandigarh. 2.

The second bail application was dismissed as withdrawn on 19.1.2024, with the directions upon the learned trial court concerned, to make efforts, to expedite the examination of the prosecution witnesses. 3.

Learned State counsel for the U.T., Chandigarh, at the very outset, submits that only two prosecution witnesses remained to be examined, and the next date fixed before the learned trial court concerned is 24.9.2024.
