The present petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in FIR No. 200 dated 04.10.2019 under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station City, Jagraon, District Ludhiana.

At the outset, learned State counsel in compliance of order dated 05.12.2023 has filed the status report by way of an affidavit of Mr. Jasjyot Singh, PPS, DSP, Jagraon, District Ludhiana on behalf of respondent-State in Court today, which is taken on record.
