NAMIT KUMAR, J. (ORAL) This petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking directions to official respondent No.3 to bring the case bearing FIR No.106 dated 11.06.2021 under Sections 341, 342, 452, 34 (added lateron), 323, 506, 147, 149 IPC (deleted lateron) registered at Police Station Ghagra, District Patiala, Punjab, to its logical conclusion by submitting the final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. before the competent Court of law. Further prayer has been made for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner as well as her other family members from the hands of respondents No.4 to 7 and/or for direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the representation dated 30.08.2022 (Annexure P-3) submitted by the petitioner.

-2CRM-M-48697 of 2022 Mr. Adhiraj Singh, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents No.1 to 3-State. He, on instructions from ASI Khem Chand, submits that the challan has already been filed before the trial Court on 21.11.2022, therefore, prayer in this regard made in the petition has become infructuous.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has submitted representation dated 30.08.2022 (Annexure P-3) seeking protection of her life and liberty and the same may be directed to be considered and decided at the earliest by respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala {wrongly typed as District SAS Nagar (Mohali)}.
Accordingly, and without commenting upon the merits of the claim of the petitioner and even the assertions set out in the petition, the same is disposed of only with a direction to respondent No.2 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala that if any such representation, as indicated above, is indeed pending consideration, that shall be dealt with expeditiously in accordance with law by passing a speaking order preferably within four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and convey the same to the petitioner.
