This is the first petition for grant of regular bail to the petitioner under Section 439 Cr.P.C in FIR No.25 dated 21.01.2021 under Sections 22(c), 61 of NDPS Act & 18 A, 18(c), 27, 28 of Drugs and Cosmetic Act, 1940 at Police Station Old Faridabad, Haryana. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition at this stage. He has further submitted that in the present case, the petitioner has been in custody since 21.01.2021. There are 12 witnesses and till date, no witness has been examined. He, thus, prayed that trial be expedited. In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn at this stage and a direction is given to the trial Court to expeditiously decide the trial.
