The present petition has been filed by the defendant-Nagar Council, Nabha against the judgment and decree of the courts below, whereby, the suit filed by the State for permanent injunction was decreed. On 18.3.2014, this Court observed that since the dispute is between the State Government and the statutory body, Chief Secretary, Punjab was directed to summon the Secretaries of the concerned departments for settlement of dispute.

Learned counsel for the State has produced in Court the minutes of meeting dated 12.5.2014, which was attended by the officers from both sides, wherein certain directions were given. Learned counsel for the parties are agreed that they will comply with the settlement arrived at in the meeting between the parties and the present appeal may be disposed of in terms thereof. Considering the aforesaid statement made by learned counsel for the parties, the present appeal is disposed of in terms of the minutes recorded in the meeting held on 12.5.2014. The minutes thereof are taken on SHARMILA 2015.03.17 13:42 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document.
