LPA-1037-2018 This appeal under clause X of the Letters Patent has been filed challenging the judgement and order of the learned Single Judge dated 24.05.2018 dismissing the writ petition filed by the petitioner (appellant herein).

The petitioner approached this Court being aggrieved by the fact that she was denied promotion to the post of Head Constable. The case set out by the petitioner in the writ petition was that though the marks allocated to her for service record were very high, but she was given very low marks in the interview purposefully to prevent her promotion. After having heard learned counsel for the appellant, we find no reason in the facts and circumstances under which the writ petition was dismissed to take a different view. The appeal is devoid of merits and accordingly stands dismissed.
