(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking directions to respondents No.2 & 3 to take appropriate legal action in FIR No. 0166 dated 24.06.2024, registered under Sections 452, 323, 427, 506, 148, and 149 of the Indian Penal Code at Police Station Sahnewal, District Ludhiana and to decide the representations Annexures P-3 to P-6 submitted by the petitioners. 2.

Purusant to order dated 09.09.2024, a reply dated 28.10.2024 has already been filed by the respondent-State and a perusal of the same shows that investigation of the present FIR is being conducted diligently. It is further submitted in Para 6 of the reply that based on the statement of petitioner No.1, respondents No.5, 6, 10 and 14 have already been arrayed as accused and necessary steps are being taken to secure their arrest. It is further submitted by the State that as regards the other individuals named in the representation, investigation is still ongoing to determine their KAVITA NAIN 2024.12.05 17:48 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document order/judgment involvement.
