Learned counsel would contend that the petitioner having been selected for appointment to the post of Steno Typist (English) under the EBPG category and was recommended by the Staff Selection Commissionrespondent No.4, however the appointment letter was not issued, though in case of similarly situated candidates, the State has appointed them, based on the opinion in terms of the notification dated 03.05.2024, vide various appointment letters, Annexure P-18. In this regard, representation dated 06.05.2024, Annexure P-19, has been submitted however the same has yet not evoked any response. Learned counsel, at this stage, on instructions, from the petitioner, prays that a direction is given to respondent No.4 to decide the same in a time bound manner.

At the asking of the Court, Mr. Harish Nain, AAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and has no objection to the limited prayer made.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent HAMANT 2024.09.09 17:43 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment
CWP-22787-2024 No.4 to decide the representation dated 06.05.2024, Annexure P-19, within a period of 6 weeks, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to him and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to his interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioner shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon.
