(ORAL) Challenge in the present revision petition is to the order dated 29.07.2023, whereby the learned Family Court, Panipat, directed the petitioner-husband to pay interim maintenance @ Rs.15,000/- per month to the respondent-wife, besides a sum of Rs.5500/- towards litigation expenses.

Marriage of the petitioner with respondent was solemnized on 30.11.2020. No child was born out of the said wedlock. The parties are residing separately since 25.01.2021.

Perusal of the file shows that the matter pertains to the year 2023 and notice is yet to be issued in the same. The case has been listed for hearing for 04 times, out of which on the last 03 consecutive dates i.e. 13.10.2023, 18.12.2023 and 26.02.2023 the same is repeatedly adjourned at the request of learned counsel for the petitioner. Even the order dated 13.10.2023, passed by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court whereby the learned counsel for the petitioner was directed to place on RISHU KATARIA 2024.03.23 12:39 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.

CRR(F)-1343-2023 (O&M) -22024:PHHC:041423 record the salary slip of the petitioner has not been complied with, till date. Today also, for the 4th time, learned proxy counsel for the petitioner prays for an adjournment on the ground that learned counsel is in some personal difficulty.

There is no justification to entertain the aforesaid request for an adjournment made by learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Thus, it can safely be presumed that the petitioner or his counsel is not interested in pursuing or addressing arguments in the present revision petition.

Dismissed.
