The present petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent Nos.4 to 6.

In view of the status report dated 27.08.2025, which has already been taken on record, the learned State Counsel has submitted that there is no threat to the life and liberty of the petitioners from the private respondents, and that no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition.
