The contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 20.01.2025 passed in CWP-344352024, whereby, respondents were directed to decide legal notice dated 03.09.2024 filed by the petitioner by passing a speaking order. 2.

Learned counsel for respondent-State contends that in compliance of order dated 20.01.2025 passed in CWP-34435-2024, speaking order dated 23.10.2025 is passed by State Transport Commissioner, Punjab, Exercising the powers of RTA, Patiala.

A perusal of speaking order dated 23.10.2025, shows that order dated 20.01.2025 passed in CWP-34435-2024, has been complied with. 4.

In view of the above, the contempt is purged and rule is discharged.

Needless to say that liberty is however granted to the petitioner to challenge the speaking order dated 23.10.2025 in accordance with law. 6.
