The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered against him vide FIR No.247, dated 17.8.2021, Police Station Bilaspur, District Yamuna Nagar, under Sections 307, 34 IPC and Section 25 of Arms Act, mainly on the ground that it is a case of cross-version wherein a compromise has already been effected.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn the attention of this Court to order passed in the case of co-accused Sohard @ Munna i.e. order dated 29.11.2021 passed in CRM-M-44796-2021 (Annexure P4) wherein the said accused has been granted bail on grounds of MOHAN SINGH 2022.05.04 05:46 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

- 2 - CRM-M-52919-2021 (O&M) compromise and it has specifically been recorded therein that Sh. Arvind Pal Singh, Advocate, who had put in appearance on behalf of the complainant had duly endorsed the factum of compromise. 3.

Learned State counsel, upon instructions from SI Jaswinder, has submitted that pursuant to interim directions issued on 17.12.2021, the petitioner has joined investigation and is not required for any custodial interrogation. He has however, feigned ignorance about the alleged compromise.

I have considered rival submissions addressed before this Court. 5.

Having regard to the fact that co-accused of the petitioner has been granted bail while noticing the factum of compromise wherein counsel for complainant had admitted the factum of compromise, the instant petition also deserves to be accepted particularly when the petitioner has joined investigation.
