NAMIT KUMAR, J. (ORAL) Prayer in this Criminal Writ Petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for directing respondents No.1 to 3 to provide adequate security and protection to the life and liberty of the petitioner from the hands of respondents No.4 to 10.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that let this petition be disposed of only with a direction to the Commissioner of Police, Faridabad, District Faridabad (respondent No.2) to consider and decide the representation dated 17.10.2022 (Annexure P-1) alleged to have been submitted by the petitioner seeking protection for her life and personal liberty along with her minor son, namely, Rizwan. Accordingly, and without commenting upon the merits of the claim of the petitioner and even the assertions set out in the petition, the same is disposed of only with a direction to respondent No.2 that if any such representation, as indicated above, is indeed pending consideration, they shall be dealt with expeditiously in accordance with law by passing a RAVINDER SINGH 2022.11.10 11:41 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
