(ORAL) CM-90-LPA-2017 In view of the reasons mentioned in the application, 5 days delay in filing of present appeal is condoned. CM stands disposed of.

Main Case Present Letters Patent Appeal is directed against the judgment of learned Single Judge dated 23.11.2016. Learned counsel for the appellant states that since the University has decided not to go ahead with the admission the grievance NARESH KUMAR 2018.09.14 13:18 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

LPA-53-2017 (O&M) -2in the present appeal has been largely redressed and prays that the question of locus be kept alive as the observations of the learned Single Judge would be contrary to the judgment of Hon'ble Supreme Court in case B.Srinivasa Reddy Vs. Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board Employees' Association and others, (2006) 11 Supreme Court Cases 731 (II).

Apart from that it is contended that in the parting the learned Single Judge has said that the amendments are to be carried out through publication in the University Calendar. Learned counsel for the petitioner is concerned with the direction to publish calendar every time the amendment is sought. We are of the opinion that it is not necessary. Only requirement is of incorporating the amendments in the University rules in whatever way that may be convenient as long as it is reflected in the calendar.

With the aforesaid observations, the present appeal stands disposed of.
