(ORAL) Prayer in the writ petition is for quashing of order dated 24.05.2018 (Annexure P-5) vide which case of petitioners for promotion to the post of TGT Punjabi has been rejected on the premise that they are not possessing qualification of B.Ed.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent-Director Elementary Education, Haryana, Shiksha Sadan, Sector 5, Panchkula to consider the legal notice dated 25.07.2019 (Annexure P-7) in view of Annexures P-8 & P-9 (colly) within a stipulated period.
Without going into the merits and demerits of the claim of the petitioner, I deem it appropriate to direct nd respondent-Director Elementary Education, Haryana, Shiksha Sadan, Sector 5, Panchkula to consider the legal notice dated 25.07.2019 (Annexure P-7) in view of Annexures P-8 & P-9 (colly) within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and shall pass a speaking order thereon, failing which respondent No.2 shall be liable to pay costs of `25,000/- to the petitioners. This condition of imposing costs is only to prevent petitioners running from PANKAJ KUMAR 2019.10.15 11:57 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
