Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Surinder Pal has stated that the present petition has since been rendered infructuous inasmuch as the petitioner in the present case stands convicted vide judgment dated 17.11.2023.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
