RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Prayer in the present petition is for issuance of direction to official respondents to arrest respondents No.5 and 6 in case GD No.37, dated 20.12.2021, under Sections 323, 295-A, 506, 34 IPC in case FIR No.170, dated 14.12.2021, registered under Sections 323, 341, 354, 427, 452, 506, 148, 149 IPC, at Police Station Sultanwind, District Police Commissionerate Amritsar.

Counsel has submitted that the Investigating Agency is not proceeding with the investigation.

Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr.Sandeep Kumar, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent/State and submits, on instructions from SI Gurnam Singh, that it is a case of version and cross-version. He submits that version of the petitioner was investigated and, however, the same has been found false. He has submitted that case is under investigation and the same would be concluded expeditiously. He further submits, on instructions, that the investigation would be completed MEENU 2022.12.01 17:32 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

In view of the above statement made by learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the State to complete the investigation within 15 days from today, as submitted before this Court.
