**** AMIT RAWAL, J. (ORAL) Petitioners are seeking indulgence of this Court for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the orders dated 25.05.2019 (Annexure P-5) issued by respondent No.3/Commissioner of Police and further writ of mandamus directing the respondents to promote the petitioners by giving the benefit of accelerated seniority as per 85th constitutional amendment act from the year 1995. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners will be satisfied if the present writ petition is treated as representation and a direction is issued to respondent No.3-Commissioner of Police, Police Commissionerate of Gurugram,Office of Commissioner of Police, Gurugram, to consider the same within a stipulated period. Without going into the merits and demerits of the claim of the petitioners, I deem it appropriate to treat present writ petition as

This condition of imposing costs is only to prevent petitioners to run from pillar to post and avail remedy of contempt in case of noncompliance of directions issued by this Court.
