The learned counsel representing the parties are ad idem that this writ petition is required to be disposed of in terms of the order dated 05.01.2023 passed by this Court in Sukhpal Singh and Another v. State of Punjab and Others (Civil Writ Petition No. 30239 of 2022), which reads as under:- "The petitioners are challenging the additional charge assigned to them by the competent authority. They allege that while having been posted against a sanctioned post, they are being required to perform additional duties at different locations.
Sh. Charanpreet Singh, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, submits that efforts are being made to ensure that the DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2023.01.18 13:34 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
Civil Writ Petition No. 24312 of 2022 petitioners shall not be forced to discharge their public duties at two different places, at the same time.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, are also disposed of."

In view of the above, the present writ petition stands disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
