**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J.(Oral) Petitioner has preferred this writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction especially in the nature of certiorari, quashing a criminal case registered against his son vide FIR No.193 dated 15.11.2021 registered under Sections 307, 323, 341, 506, 336, 148, 149 of IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act at Police Station Julkan, District Patiala. Petitioner has also prayed for issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus seeking necessary directions to the respondents to take appropriate action on the representation dated 17.11.2021 (Annexure P-9) filed by the petitioner along with some documents to take plea of alibi on MOHMED ATIK 2021.12.23 17:04 I attest to the accuracy of this order

CWP-26806-2021  behalf of his son. Son of the petitioner is major and has not preferred this petition.

Admittedly the aforesaid FIR has been registered only on 15.11.2021 and the investigation of the Police is in progress. In view of above, no ground is made out to quash the FIR in question which has been lodged only 1 month and 8 days ago. This writ petition is dismissed. However, son of the petitioner, if so, advised may avail his legal remedies in accordance with law. The police would also be at liberty to take appropriate action on the pending representation (Annexure P-9) in accordance with law.
