The prayer made in the present petition is setting aside the impugned communication dated 08.07.2025 (Annexure P-8) and directing the respondents to grant the petitioners promotion to the Master Cadre post. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the seniority of Master Cadre teachers have not been finalized without which promotions are being made.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from Mr. Rajeev Kumar, submits that the seniority list of Master Cadre teachers was finalized on 05.08.2024 and impugned order relates to the promotions of Master Cadre teachers from OCT Cadres, in wake of which the learned counsel for the petitioners states that a representation shall be submitted with regard to the grievance that they have, which may be directed to be decided in a time bound manner, to which learned State counsel has no objection.
