(ORAL) Prayer in the writ petition is for issuing direction to respondents to grant similar pay scale to the petitioners as other similarly situated employees, who have been selected out of same selection list but have been allotted other departments have been getting more pay scale than petitioners and grant benefit of seniority to petitioners above or at part with candidates, who are juniors to the petitioners as per merit list prepared at the time of selection pertaining to advertisement dated 22.07.1987 with further direction to consider case of petitioners in terms of order dated 30.09.2015 (Annexure P-8) passed by this Hon'ble Court in bunch of writ petitions. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondent No.1-Chief Secretary to Govt. of Haryana, Haryana Civil Secretariat, Chandigarh to consider the legal notice dated 31.08.2019 (Annexure P-4) in view of Annexure P-8 within a stipulated period.
Without going into the merits and demerits of the claim of the petitioners, I deem it appropriate to direct respondent No.1-Chief Secretary to Govt. of Haryana, Haryana Civil Secretariat, Chandigarh to consider the PANKAJ KUMAR 2019.10.18 14:31 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP No.29207 of 2019 (O&M) -2legal notice dated 31.08.2019 (Annexure P-4) in view of Annexure P-8 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass a speaking order thereon, failing which respondent No.1 shall be liable to pay costs of `25,000/- to the petitioners. This condition of imposing costs is only to prevent petitioners running from pillar to post and avail remedy of contempt in case of non-compliance of directions issued by this Court.
