The instant petition has been filed seeking issuance of directions to the official respondents to stop illegal encroachment on the land of petitionersociety by non-members and to further issue directions to discontinue recording of revenue entries in respect of the possession in favour of such encroachers.

This Court finds that the relief sought for by the petitioner would fall within domain either the Revenue Department or the Police or the petitioner could avail of other alternate remedies including filing of a civil suit. In any case, since learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that a representation dated 17.4.2023 (Annexure P-7) is submitted to Deputy Commissioner of Police, Sangrur, Punjab, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to Pankaj Kakkar 2023.09.25 16:50 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

Needless to mention, the petitioner would be at liberty to avail of all such remedies as may be available for redressal of his grievances in accordance with law.
