Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail in case FIR No.123 dated 05.06.2018, under Sections 489-B and 489-C IPC, 1860, registered at Police Station Sadar Narwana, District Jind.

The prosecution case is that a secret information was received by the Police Station Incharge Narwana that if a raid is conducted then the petitioner, who deals in counterfeit currency notes, can be caught. On receiving the information, a raid was conducted and the petitioner was caught with counterfeit currency notes of `6500/-. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that investigation of the case is complete and the challan stands filed on 28.09.2019. According to him, petitioner is not involved in any other case, therefore, concession of Sheetal Gawri 2019.10.18 18:17 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh regular bail may be extended to him.

CRM-M-42747-2019 (O & M) -2On the other hand, learned State counsel has opposed the bail application. However, it is not disputed that the petitioner is not involved in any other case.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties, this Court finds that the further custody of the petitioner may not be necessary, as the trial is likely to consume considerable time. Therefore, without meaning any expression of opinion on the merits of the case, it is ordered that the petitioner be released on regular bail subject to his furnishing requisite bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court concerned. The petition is allowed.
